You know what has actually been decimated? Your bank account....

President [REDACTED] keeps telling us that the U.S. military has "decimated" Iran's military. And while the modern abridged definition of decimated means severely reduced in number, destroyed, or heavily damaged, the actual meaning is derived from the Latin decimatus, meaning "to take the tenth"--referring to a Roman military punishment where every tenth man was killed.

While it is not the brag he thinks it is to say 'we have destroyed 10% of Iran's military,' there is something he alone has actually destroyed 10% of: your net worth.

Through his idiotic tariff regime, his destruction of jobs through misguided immigration policies and efforts to reduce the federal workforce, his tax cuts paid for by making healthcare inaccessible to millions which raises the cost of healthcare for all, and now his idiotic war of choice in the Middle East which is making fuel much more expensive and destroying the value of your 401K and investment accounts, he truly has probably taken at least 10% of what you had before he strutted back into the White House like a demented Foghorn Leghorn on Adderall.

Even though he doesn't know the actual meaning of the word, President [REDACTED] has definitely decimated some things. Unfortunately, they are OUR things...or were....

"We're way ahead of schedule, way ahead." Hey press...!

Why are none of you pressing both President [REDACTED] and Pissed-off Pete on this?

You keep asking things like when the "excursion" will end and how far along are we, but I have yet to hear anyone just simply say, "the President keeps saying we are way ahead of schedule, so that means you had a schedule going into this--WHERE THE EF ARE WE ON THIS SCHEDULE? Will you give us the schedule so we can see what the plan was/is? Why are you hiding this schedule from the American people who are being asked to shoulder the immense costs of this...whatever it is?"

It's infuriating when the Idiot-in-Chief says things like this and the press doesn't latch onto it like a dog with a bone and not allow him to just get away with not answering for it.

Which is it: are we ahead of a schedule that the military set going in or are we just waiting for your bones to tell us when we are done?

"We had no idea we would be this far ahead," he said. Of what? It is our blood and our treasure you are spending there jackass. We deserve to know....

US President Donald Trump said the US is “way ahead of schedule” in the war with Iran and claimed that nearly 90% of Tehran’s missiles have been destroyed, Anadolu reports.

“It’s going very well. We’re way ahead of schedule, way ahead. We had no idea we would be this far ahead. We’ve knocked out close to 90% of their missiles,” Trump said in an interview with FOX News.

"Thank a Democrat. It's their shutdown."

That was the message from the Administration's "Rapid Response 47" X account in response to growing lines and frustration at airports due to TSA shortages stemming from the latest government shutdown.

But back in 2013 in an interview with then-Fox News host Greta Van Susteren, the Orange Abomination had a far different assessment of culpability for government shutdowns under Obama:

"You have to get everybody in a room. You have to be a leader. The president has to lead. He has get Mr. Boehner and everybody else in a room, and they have to make a deal. You have to be nice and be angry and be wild and congeal and do all sorts of thing, but you have to get a deal.

And, unfortunately, he has never been a dealmaker. That wasn't his expertise before he went into politics and it's obviously not his expertise now. But you have to get the people in a room and you have to get a deal. That's good for everybody and good for the country."
https://www.foxnews.com/transcript/donald-trump-has-advice-for-president-obama-about-the-art-of-the-deal

Democrats have reasonable demands on ICE in order to fully restore the funding that will end this shutdown, but there has been very little talk of even being willing to negotiate.

And this is only a very narrowly limited government shutdown--so easy peasy, right? Child's play.

Did all of the rooms get torn down to make way for the ballroom or what? I'm sure there has to be a room somewhere they could all get into and let President [REDACTED] work his "art of the deal" magic.

It feels almost like he didn't actually write that book after all....

So, you let ICE run loose on American streets in masks and unmarked cars to terrorize and kill people which led inevitably to horror and pushback; now you refuse to "get everybody in a room" and be a leader; but it's all the fault of Democrats?

Classic....

Inflation is actually down 1500%. Maybe more....

This will be a talking point coming out of the White House very soon.

Sure, the number will be different--that part is hard to predict--but the message will be the same. It is their go-to move.

And how is this remotely possible?

Because Iran was--they will say--two weeks from detonating a nuclear weapon...somewhere.

Had this happened in two weeks (or whatever ridiculous timeframe they will claim) then the world would have been thrown into economic chaos. Forget that 3% inflation number--it would have exploded along with the mushroom cloud. So really, inflation is WAY down!

And no, the price of gas is not up 14% this week because of the "war"; it is actually down 1400% from where it was heading if we hadn't bombed Iran and stopped that "impending" nuclear attack.

You ungrateful Americans should be thanking us they will say.

Because that's what they do: they lie about the mess they "inherited" and when their solutions make things worse they just claim that it would have been so much worse otherwise.

I'm sure we will get a "Truth" any minute telling us all about it....

BUT THE DOW!!

"The Dow is over 50,000 right now, the S&P at almost 7,000, and the Nasdaq smashing records. Americans' 401(k)s and retirement savings are booming. That's what we should be talking about" - Pam Bondi, February 2026.

That combative answer from Attorney General Pam Bondi in a House Judiciary Committee hearing centered on the DOJ's handling of the Epstein files actually revealed a lot about the Administration's approach to governing: as long as the Stock Market is making our people happy it doesn't matter what we do.

And to some extent that is actually true.

The economy is consistently rated as a top issue by voters.

And for the wealthy donors that drive policy in Republican circles, the Stock Market is king. Protect their investments and you can grab them by the whatever you want...and they will love you for it.

But the Administration has veered off course here. What tariffs surprisingly didn't do, a clearly under-planned foray into Iran based on a "feeling" by President [REDACTED] has finally managed to accomplish: the DOW has dropped precipitously since the start of the invasion--basically wiping out all gains for the year.

It was on its way down following the screeching Bondi's attempt at deflection. The DOW's high point for the year of 50,512 was reached just before her testimony. Since then it has lost over 2,500 points. With that drop the DOW is now down 427 points from the close on January 2nd of this year.

On March 3rd alone, reports indicated roughly $950 billion was wiped out of the U.S. stock market.

And one big reason for that is that investors are realizing that the Administration really did not have a plan--not for what comes next; not for making sure the Strait of Hormuz stayed open; not for how to reassure our allies of their security; not for how to reassure even the American people that the repercussions of this "war"--or whatever they are calling it today--will not reach our shores.

As a result, Americans' 401(k)s and retirement savings are no longer booming, and many of the wealthiest companies have been hit the hardest.

While the Stock Market isn't the economy, approximately 62% of American adults own stock, either directly or through retirement accounts like 401(k)s or IRAs, according to a 2025 Gallup survey.
https://news.gallup.com/poll/266807/percentage-americans-owns-stock.aspx

That makes fluctuations in the markets much less of an issue for just the top 10% than we sometimes like to think. Its performance is important to a lot of people, and its voice is heard throughout the economy--especially as it is still the way a lot of companies raise money for capital investment which creates jobs.

And now we get the report that the U.S. lost 92,000 jobs in February.

After telling us over and over how stupid our leaders of the past have been and that's why we can't have nice things, we are finally getting to see what actual stupidity looks like (again) when it grabs the wheel out of the captain's hands and heads towards the storm rather than away from it.

Whatever happens, at the moment it doesn't look like the DOW is going to save us. But then again, if there is anything our current incompetent captain does pay attention to it is clearly the DOW....

Well, THAT was a close call....

Stupid man breathes huge sigh of relief....

Whomever the next press secretary is for the next Democratic president...

...had better practice saying, "stupid, cruel, incompetent, grifting, corrupt administration led by a lying draft dodging pedophile with 34 felonies who was also found liable for sexual abuse in a court of law."

Because that is what I want to hear EVERY SINGLE TIME a reference is made to the current Administration--day after day after day.

EVERY

SINGLE

TIME.

Is this whole Iran War thing starting to feel a lot like Sharpiegate?

Credit: The White House from Washington, DC

Remember back in the good old days of 2019 when Hurricane Dorian was approaching the U.S. mainland and DonOld tweeted out that it would affect Alabama despite the fact that the state was not expected to be hit?

On Sept. 1, with Hurricane Dorian wreaking havoc in the Bahamas and poised to strike the southeastern United States, President Donald Trump tweeted that Alabama would “most likely be hit (much) harder than anticipated.” Twenty minutes later, the National Weather Service (NWS) in Birmingham sent a contradictory tweet, saying, “Alabama will NOT see any impacts from Dorian.” The media and the public read NWS Birmingham’s tweet as correcting the president — and apparently, so did the president.

A few days later, in a video from the Oval Office, Trump provided an update on the storm, referencing a map that was apparently doctored with a Sharpie pen to show the storm’s path veering into Alabama. Two days after the so-called “Sharpiegate,” the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) issued a statement seemingly chastising NWS Birmingham for its Sept. 1 tweet, saying it “spoke in absolutist terms that were inconsistent with probabilities from the best forecast products available at the time.”

https://americanoversight.org/how-sharpiegate-turned-a-simple-misunderstanding-into-a-media-frenzy-and-headache-for-noaa-employees/

It was astounding at the time. How could anyone be so bullheaded that they would quadruple-down on a simple mistake that any normal human being would admit to and just move on? And even worse, how could they order a government agency to lie in furtherance of this mistake as a coverup? How could they disrupt the lives of Americans looking for accurate information in a time of potential crisis? What normal person would alter an official government document with a Sharpie just to make it say what they wanted it to say--not what was true?

Everything the Administration has put out about the war in Iran feels like the international war equivalent of Sharpiegate. The intelligence does not seem to agree with what the Administration says. Our allies do not seem to agree with what the Administration says. There is very little to support what they do say other than the shifting sands of their own narratives. They have decided what they wanted the truth to be and drawn it on the map with a Sharpie, and now we are all forced to live with the consequences.

And, as with Hurricane Dorian--a natural force that really didn't care what some idiot tweeted out about it--this war will not care what the idiots that started it draw on their war maps with their own Sharpies.

The only thing we can count on--just like back then--is that it all comes from the addled mind of a man that can never tell the truth or admit fault.

I guess we will just have to hope this storm blows over as well....

And like Sharpiegate: whatever happens, only blame will be assigned; fault will never be admitted.

"President [REDACTED] will be keeping tabs on the war he launched with Iran from his private Mar-a-Lago club...

..throughout the day." -- White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt

That's pretty much how he monitored the Vietnam War isn't it?
